It’s the number of links. I think you can post five links no problem, but sometimes I post up to ten or so, and that’ll set it off.

Yes, I know you said that before, but it has happened to me posting no links sometimes, posting two links sometimes. And at other times I forget and post 4 or 5 links and nothing happens.
Shrug! But I hate taking time to answer a question and then it doesn’t appear, both ’cause I wasted my time and ’cause the poster doesn’t always get an answer asap. -
Perhaps it’s got something to do with the number of links you post in a day? Because you’re more likely than me to post links in the Support forum.

Hmm. Could be. I mostly just answer the easy questions so I suppose I do post lots of links in a day.
The weird thing is, I’ll be invisible in one thread and I won’t realize it immediately so I’ll post in another one and I’m visible again. Only going back to where I was invisible, I stay invisible in the thread until support fixes it.
I read a novel where the main character became invisible and he was able to steal things and build up quite a fortune. Seemed like a good idea until he fell in love and the woman couldn’t take having an invisible partner. I guess the point was that being invisible isn’t a good thing…

Somewhere back in the mists of time, Alex mentioned something about having taken care of that problem. I don’t know if it was on an individual basis or not. //shrugs

No the invisibility problem still persists and I usually send Staff an email everyday. I am no longer putting more that 2 links in any comment, however, as I said previously I have seen instances where including a single link did trigger invisibility.
