WAS TOLD ADS WOULD BE REMOVED W/ PAID HOSTING, NOW REMOVE THEM

So I recently had an advertising problem almost resolved. Still not a fan of being forced to leave a link to WordPress on my blog but i’ll deal with it. now the problem i have is advertising, AGAIN. I recently saved a draft of a story im working on, and when i click to see a preview of it, i get this box popping up saying:

‘Occasionally, some of your visitors may see an advertisement here.

Tell me more | Dismiss this message’

so why is it that i’m paying for wordpress.com to host my domain, where i’m told by wordpress forum mods and wordpress itself, that there will be no ads in my domain hosting by them, yet the longer i am here and doing things on this website i keep finding slippery little ways wordpress.com finds to get around their own ToS….? REMOVE THIS ADVERTISING FFS. i am paying to have an ad-free website, and this trash is not ad-free in the slightest.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your ALL CAPS IS RUDE & YOU WERE NOT TOLD SUCH

Domain mapping is just that no more no less, changes the name visitors see when they visit – nothing else

YOU WANT NO ADS?? Then buy the No Ads Upgrade – $ 30.- / year

HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY KNOW WHAT I PAID FOR, YOU ARE A SIMPLE NUB LIKE THE REST OF US HERE. I DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS WORDPRESS.COM STANDARD POLICY TO HAND OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OF ANY MEMBER TO ANY MEMBER. I WANT YOUR PERSONAL FINANCIAL INFORMATION AS YOU THINK YOU HAVE MINE.

    YOUR REPLY DOES NOT HELP.

This is what I told you in your other thread:

You have not paid WordPress.com to host your site. Your site is hosted by wp.com for free. You paid for domain mapping, but you are still hosted on wp.com. See here:

    Domains

If you read that link, you must have seen this:
“you will still be required to abide by our Terms of Service.
Perhaps you forgot this item in the TOS:

10 Advertisements. Automattic reserves the right to display advertisements on your blog unless you have purchased an Ad-free Upgrade or a VIP Services account.

I think, however that you have another problem.

As for this notice appearing at the end of your draft post:

Occasionally, some of your visitors may see an advertisement here.
Tell me more | Dismiss this message

That information was added by staff because some new bloggers are unaware of the adverts placed on our sites by wp.com. A lot of folks don’t read the Terms of Service they agree to when they sign up for an account so they missed the item #10 which explains about the advertising. The note is placed there for “your eyes only” and will go away when you dismiss it.

It appears the only transaction on mustaschworld.wordpress.com was the purchase of a domain mapping upgrade that was cancelled and refunded.

If you wish to remove ads, you can do so as previously explained.
