Wassup plugin

  I blog on political topics and I would like to know more about where my users are coming from. The wassup plug-in does this. The built-in analytics with world map are nice but not detailed enough for me. Can we get wassup or do I have to rehost?

  The answer is no. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes on blogs hosted by WordPress.COM like yours.

  If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

You either purchase the Business upgrade http://store.wordpress.com/plans/business/ for $299 US per year or you don’t have access to Google Analytics.
