Watermark not showing up in slideshow on modularity lite

My daughter is just setting up a photo blog. She has been trying to use the modularity lite theme. She has put watermarks on certain photos of hers, and they show up just fine in the post. But when the picture gets put into the slideshow the watermark disappears. She loves the slideshow feature and wants to include some of her watermarked works in it, but not if the watermark is going to disappear. How can we make sure the watermark remains in the photo while it’s in the slideshow? She has moved the watermark to an obvious location that can’t be cropped off but it still does not appear on the picture when the slideshow feature of Modularity Lite is activated.
