Watson Theme Full width post

    Hello! I am currently using the Watson Theme and am wondering how to make my posts full width?
    Thanks

    I have found a code to make the posts full width, however now the photos look a little off and the gallery at the bottom is also on the left hand side. Is there any way to center them, or make them larger? As well as moving the featured image from looking like it is on the right hand side more centered as well? I am new to CSS and any help is appreciated!

    I have changed my theme to full screen using watson and am loving it! However I cannot get the featured image to be the same size as the text now. I have gone to the section in CSS which says “content width” and changed it to 900. I’ve tried to test it by uploading pictures that are 900 pixels but to all avail nothing is working! What am I doing wrong here?

    Hi Alexia,

    It looks like the theme is cropping the image to a fixed size, this can be changed with CSS like this:

    .feature img {width:100%; height:auto;}

    but it’s basically zooming in on the smaller image which makes the quality deteriorate – something I would recommend avoiding. A different option would be just centering the image like so:

    .feature img {float:none; margin:0 auto;}

    Sorry I can’t help further and thanks for bringing the lemon squares recipe to my attention!

    Actually, this was really helpful, thanks! I tried both codes out and the second one ended up being fine! It doesn’t stretch out the photos to make them look bad. Thank you so much! And I’m glad you like the lemon square recipe, it really is incredible!
