way to convert java widgets to use on WordPress.com?

  Just like with my experience with my beloved “Library Thing” – I discovered the “Share This” site, only to find that after going through all of the motions — I could not use the widget because it had java.

  Is there some utility to convert all of the wonderful java widgets so that they can be used here at WP.Com? IF there isn’t could WP.Com perhaps add this to their “TO DO” list asap.

  Not really since HTML does not have the abilities of javascript, such as controlling a browser and such, or interacting with a database or things like that.

  Did you see this: http://support.wordpress.com/addthis/ ?

  It isn’t as slick or advanced as share this since it doesn’t use javascript, but it does work here.
