Way to link w/i a post to writing that shows up later in same post?

    I have some comments I want to make within a post about something I wrote earlier in the same post. I’d like to put an asterisk* following the sentence that I have follow up comments on, and then be able to link that asterisk to take me directly to my special comments that appear later.

    Is this possible?

    (Let’s say we could do this, then the * in 1st paragraph would take us to this sentence).

    Yes but you’re better off using something a bit longer than an asterisk; perhaps a whole word so people can see it to click on it. Anyway, what you want is called page jumping; this FAQ should help you see how to do it.

    If you just want it to work right now, try insert these into the code part of your editor. The first one would replace your asterisk or a word in your post; the second is where you’ll end up on the page when you click on it. Hope that helps. :)
