Wayfarer, problem custom

    Hi,

    I`m working in the avrylyoga.com web.
    Avryl buy the Wayfarer theme and I make change.

    I want to put featured en Home page but i can’t because there isn’t the button that i se in the documentation: https://audiotheme.com/support/wayfarer/, in the section Featured Content.

    Can help me?

    To enable Featured Content:

    1. Go to Appearance → Customize
    2. Click the Featured Content section to expand it
    3. Click the Add Posts button
    4. Select the items you want to feature
    5. Click the Select button
    6. Drag and drop items into your preferred order
    7. Click the Save & Publish button at the top of the Customizer

    Hi,

    There isn’t this button in Featured content. This is my problem.

    I send mail to Audiotheme and they tell me:
    “The support documentation you linked to is actually for the self-hosted version of WordPress, not the WordPress.com version which it looks like your site is hosted on. You can find support and documentation for the WordPress.com version here.”

    Please don’t send users to theme developers for support. If they bought a Premium theme from WordPress.com the place for them to receive support is here, and all the theme developers will do if contacted directly is to send them back here. There is a dedicated forum for each Premium theme linked from the theme documentation page. Please refer users there instead if you’re not able to help them.

    Additionally, there is no Add Posts option under Featured content in the Customizer and your instructions don’t at all match what appears in the theme documentation, so I don’t know where you found that.

    If you read the theme documentation that @timethief linked to you will see you need to give the home page a Featured Image. This is not the same as the featured content of your theme.

    To set a featured image, go to My Site ->Pages and edit your home page. You set a featured image in the page editor.

    Sorry I think that I don’t explain me well.
    Featured image in the home is ok. I have this. It isn’t my problem.

    In the documentation, in the link of @timethief there is a section “Featured Content”. in this screenshot there is under the text: “Enable featured content titles. ” A box “Tag name” and Features. I don’t have this in my page.
    How can I have this?

    I try change the attributes of the home page, of the other page, of the past.

    I would like the home whit a principal photo (it is ok) anda under three other page as in the home of the documentation.

    That is in the Customizer. Click on My Sites, then click the Customize button next to Themes. Then click on Featured Content. In the Tag box you need to set a tag that you will use for featured posts. You already have a tag, Femenina, set there.

    If you create a new post and you add that tag to the post, the post will appear in your theme’s featured content section. Nothing is showing at the moment because you have not added the tag to any of your pages.

    Go to My Site ->Pages and edit the pages you want to show in the featured content area. Click on Categories and Tags, and add the Femenina tag to the pages.
