ways of making the transfer of my domain to WordPress faster

  I bought my domain with a different provider last week and just found out that to transfer it to WordPress, I will have to wait for 60 days. To make it faster, could I cancel my subscription (1 year) and buy it again through WordPress? even though that will imply to loose that 1-year £ subscription.
