Ways to Keep Image Metadata?

  I was planning to upload images of my artwork to WordPress, but it looks like the site strips all the owner-applied metadata, including Author and Copyright information. Is there a way to avoid this?

  Most of the metadata should be preserved but it may depend on how you’re attaching and formatting the data. The best bet would be to email us at support@wordpress.com with an image you’ve tried uploading and some details about what happens. Thanks!
