Ways to Reduce Non-Human traffic?

    Hi all,

    My Wordads ads stopped displaying and when I contacted support, Wordads team said that they temporarily halt displaying ads on my site due to significant amount of non-human traffic. This is my second time. They resume displaying ads after few days on my first case.

    Since this is my second time, I would like to know what I can do to minimize non-human traffic.

    Wordads team suggested that I have to work closely with my ad campaign services making sure that I do not get significant amount of non-human traffic from a campaign however, I do not have an idea on where to start. It is really difficult to track non-human traffic from a campaign since I do not get much information on what type of traffic I get from those campaign and which ad zone they are coming from.

    I am also thinking of adding some sort of plugin that block bots on my website.

    I’d start by contacting the support for those ad campaign services and asking for more information.
    There are also some resources when doing a search on Google, but I don’t know much about the topic to recommend reading any particular one.

    I’m thinking that folks at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ may be able to advise some more, especially when it comes to recommending plugins.
    Most folks in these forums have a free WordPress site hosted here with us, and thus can’t install plugins without upgrading. And since the upgraded sites come with direct support, those users don’t typically hang out here. So if you’re looking for plugin recommendations, you’ll likely find more relevant information if you’ll try the other forum.
