WC marketplace plugin blocked my account

    Hi!

I downloaded the free pluging and then I bought a license plugin for 400 USD to WC Marketplace (located in India) 1 year ago to launch my website in few months. After 1 year I have not been able to launch it because the product is defective and they dont provide with the support they said (in 24 hours), as I have been waiting for months and the issues are not solved yet. They have blocked my account for asking for help in their forum. I am also spending a lot of money as my business is closed due to them and also having to pay other plugin suppliers that are working well. I feel cheated. What can I do?

    Here complete issue:

    Hi!
I wonder if you can help me with an issue.
I downloaded WC Marketplace plugin from your website 1 year ago and I have still not being able to launch my website due to their lack of support.

I was getting support through WordPress till I upgraded it as I got to a deadend and WCMP told me to upgrade.
Then I tried to contact them through WordPress and your team is blocking my messages as apparently you don’t allow to ask for help through your forum when you have finally paid for additional features (I don’t understand why,but this is another topic)
I have been trying to contact WCMP through their internal channels, and they dont help neither answer. They blocked my account in their blog while asking for help (because their public code is not tested hence not working, and they ask their customers to pay their developers 1000 USD for fixing the code, which in fact is public but it is not working, which in my country is called extortion, when you sell a defective product and ask your customers to pay for fixing their core functionality)
Whenever I wrote a public comment asking for help about their bugs, they extorted me to delete it or they won’t fix it, and they say that this is custom code (when in fact is public, was there before I bought the license)
I feel cheated for what it started being a free plugin and now they have even blocked my account! What can I do?

    Hello,

If you have WooCommerce installed on a WordPress.com Business Plan or have a paid WooCommerce extension on a self-hosted site you can open a ticket while logged into your account at the link below.

    https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/

But, if your site is self-hosted and built using the WordPress.org open software, you’ll need to seek assistance from their forums which can be found at this link.
    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce

If you would like to see the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you can check out this page:

    Good Luck! :)

  • Hi there,

If support for this plugin is not able or willing to help you, I’m afraid there’s nothing we can do about that – this forum is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and we can only provide support for sites hosted on our servers. We have no control over plugins made by other companies for the open source WordPress software.

WooCommerce support also won’t be able to help you, as they only provide support for the core WooCommerce plugin, and add-ons for that plugin listed in the WooCommerce.com plugin marketplace. The plugin you installed is a third-party plugin made by an independent company, so the folks at WooCommerce have no control over how that plugin works.
