HI zaherdirkey,
WordPress.com is a believer in free speech and fights against censorship laws. We believe in giving everyone a voice. Unfortunately, some counties or Internet Service Providers (ISP) block some or all sites hosted by WordPress.com.
WordPress.com does not block access from Syria, therefore if your site is blocked it is coming from the government or your ISP directly.
-
I don’t think so, because the “tracert” going out of our country. it is an USA IP addresses.
-
Just to confirm, you are running a tracert using a US based IP Address? If so can you tell us more about your setup?
If you are running the tracert from your local ISP there is a high possibility this is an ISP-Level or country level block.
Again, WordPress.com is not blocking your site in Syria.
-
Thank you for your answer.
I am using my local ISP, but i removed that local IP addresses from the tracert log in my post above.
And we know that sites that blocked locally rejected immediately.
But wordpress take long time.It is happened in the past with my own site when I enabled fraud protection in my registrar.
-
Unfortunately at this point I don’t think there is anything more we can do. You can continue to use a VPN or talk to your ISP.
As I’ve mentioned previously the block is not being made on WordPress.com’s end of things.
-
there have been several other cases of WordPress.COM blogs have been been blocked at the country level or the ISP level – sometimes the ISP block was an error with a configuration problem – other times one or two blogs offended the powers in the country and they took the entire access to all WordPress.COM blogs down in an attempt to have WordPress.COM suspend the offending blogs (the blog was not suspended by the way – )
The best bet would be to contact your ISP and see what they say – if it is a country block it might be at the providers that have the main backbone for your country

I have the same problem:

Hi Ali,
I have checked with our systems team and we are not blocking your site. The block may be coming from your local Internet Provider or at the country/government level. Our systems team also pointed out that IP addresses that begin with 10 are reserved for local networks. As such, you may want to check your local network.
If you are unable to visit your site, please post your full IP address, if you don’t wish to publish this information to the forums please send it to help@wordpress.com.
Thanks,
