We need a "contact us" plugin / widget in wordpress.com

It’s generally not a great idea to put your contact email in plain text on your site. It’s very easy for spammers to find that email address, and before you know it, your inbox starts filling up with ads. The easiest way around this is to install a WordPress contact form plugin . However WordPress.com does not allow us to install our own plugins. .
I am a first time blogger and I don’t want to go to the hassle of getting my own hosting and redoing everything I have done on WordPress.com
I read that if I felt the wider community would benefit from a new widget/ plug in being made available in the free wordpress.com profiles, I should make the recommendation in this forum.
I hope WordPress considers this request seriously because if I have to do everything again I may as well switch to the website my brother is using that offers the same things WordPress offers with the addition of a contact form.
