We need a new theme

  Ok guys, I was looking at themes for WordPress.org. And theres this Atahualpa theme that is AWESOME. is there any way you can put it on a wordpress.com blog?

  Could you please provide a link to the theme as well more detail how this theme can benefit the WP.com members also what drew your attention to the theme this way the theme team have the information for consideration of the theme…

  This theme has been previously requested for adaptation so it could run on wordpress.COM software. I cannot find my bookmark and do not have time to search but Theme Team Staff answered in the negative due to the complexities of the many customization options involved.

  Yep, like timethief says. We looked at it a few times in the past, and decided not to adapt it for WP.com.

  Thanks for the clarity. I’m sure Staff will keep your request in mind. Do be aware that any theme coded to run on wordprewss.ORG software requires adaptation in order to run on this wordpress.COM multiuser blogging platform. Sometimes features are lost and sometimes new ones are added.

  However, none of this happens overnight. Therefore you will have to make do with another theme and be patient while waiting for Staff to examine Graphene, make a decision, and if they do decide to include it here at wordpress.COM, then they will need time do the work to adapt it so it can be run on wordpress.COM software.
