  Good Afternoon, we are reaching out because we have a website through the company web.com and we feel as though we are being taken advantage of. We have the rights to our website so we would like to know how we can initiate the transfer over to WordPress solely instead of the third party

  You can find find the two methods we support for transferring a WordPress site from another host to WordPress.com here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

  If you want to transfer the entire site, including the current theme and any plugins, that will require our Business Plan.

  Or if you want to migrate the content only, that’s possible on our free plan, though a paid plan is required if you also want to transfer your existing domain to us/use your own domain for the site.
