We were scammed

Our non-profit dog rescue was scammed. We had a young man approach us to build a WordPress site to replace our existing website for free. After setting up this account, and getting all of our passwords he came back and said it would be $10,000 to set up the site. We cancelled his access, but now we are stuck with this domain. We had purchased a WP template in the past, but we can’t upload it without spending $300 more dollars to upgrade this account. This has been a nightmare for us.
Is there a way to upload a template without paying $300?

No there isn’t. You must upgrade to the Business Plan if you want to upload third party themes and plugins.

I can see you have canceled the Premium subscription and domain transfer already, are you all set? Let us know if you need more help regarding the WordPress.com site. If you’d like to delete it, you can do so by following these steps:
