Does anyone know a few weather widgets for a .com website?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think this would probably work – http://yowindow.com/widget_wordpress.php
It’s a text widget on your site, then copy and paste the code as shown in the how-to … would be worth five minutes to try out, let us know how you get on :)

I added a how-to on my blog, which might be useful to show how the widget is setup – http://doncharisma.org/2015/04/05/adding-a-weather-widget-to-wordpress/
Good luck, do let us know how you get on :)

Does anybody know why whatever widget I try to apply in the end it doesn’t show up. I copy and paste it in the text widget area and nothing! Instead the blog shows a link for the widget. Any idea?

Most weather widgets are JavaScript and we cannot use that code on WordPress.COM hosted blogs for security reasons. Post the whole code you used here between [code] tags please.

Weatherwidget was running several years here.
In this tutorial we will add YoWindow weather widget to the side bar of WordPress blog. Like on the picture below
