  I am trying to change my web address and it keeps saying that the address is already taken. when I try and search for the blog address that I want, it doesn’t show that anyone is actually using it

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there!

  You can find out if your desired domain is in use by completing a quick check of the who.is directory at

  https://who.is/

  Once you’re there, you can enter he domain name you would like to use, and it will verify if the domain name is in use, and even by whom if privacy isn’t activated.

  If a specific domain name is in use, you will have to either choose another domain name, wait for the domain name to expire (the who.is will give you an expiration date) and check back to see if it is renewed, or if you want the domain name badly enough, you could perhaps contact the site owner to find out if they may be willing to negotiate a deal.
