    Hi dayakster,

You can definitely change that address, and I’ll show you how. :)

    1. Visit your blog and Click ‘My Site’ at the top right. You’ll need to be logged in to WordPress.com so you can see this.
    2. Click ‘Domains’
    3. Click on the domain you want to change then click ‘Edit Site Address’
    4. On the ‘My Blogs’ page, hover your mouse over your domain until the ‘Change Blog Address’ link appears, and then click it
    5. Type ‘marcyaxley’ into ‘New Blog/Site Address’ field and the ‘Confirm’ field as well
    6. Click ‘Review my changes’ and click the ‘I’m sure’ confirmation as well

You can read further about this process here:

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,
    Jay

    Hi,

The theme that you are using (Twenty Sixteen) does not have “portfolio” feature active by default. You can enable it.

This guide will help you convert your blog into a portfolio: https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/

The guide also has suggested list of themes which are designed specifically with portfolio content in mind.

    Hi @dayakster,

I’m actually seeing a site for https://marcyaxley.wordpress.com/ and https://marcyaxleyblog.wordpress.com/ . Did you register both of these or does the marcyaxley.wordpress.com the work of somebody else?

If the domain you’re looking for is already registered, it may be that WordPress.com suggested you add the word “blog” at the end so you’d have an approximation.

Let us know if this helps!

    Best,
    Travis

Hey @dayakster, one more thought: if you’ve accidentally created a duplicate site you can use Jay’s advice to select the one you don’t want and delete it. To see all the blogs registered under your name check out wordpress.com/sites

You can follow these steps to delete your site.

Please make sure you’re deleting the correct site! Once a site’s deleted it’s permanent.

    Best,
    Travis
