  I’ve just created an account but the web address for my business has wordpress inserted. does this have to be the case? (hallettproperty.wordpress.com)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  This is the case for all WordPress.com sites, but you can purchase a custom domain to remove the “.wordpress” part of your domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  You could just purchase a custom domain: https://wordpress.com/domains/add/hallettproperty.wordpress.com

  Or you could purchase a paid plan, which comes with other benefits too. All of them include a custom domain as well: https://wordpress.com/pricing
