web address and dashboard admin address vs site address

    How in wordpress.com can I make the web address and the site address match after changing the site address name to something different when I first signed up for an account? There are directions apparently for wordpress.org, but not for the free blog version of wordpress.com. Thank you.

    Hi,

    The Web Address may be changed at the field labeled “Web Address” at Account Settings, https://wordpress.com/me/account. The address entered there may be anything you want it to be, including the site address. See the Account Settings support page. Is that what you meant by “Web Address”?

    The “dashboard admin address” should be the site address with “/wp-adim/” appended to the end of it.
