web address is not working

  our web address is down as hiffycakesdotcom.wordpress.com. i did not select this option. When i try to change it in my settings, it allows me to modify the address to hiffcakes.wordpress.com, but my main profile has not changed and the link does not work. please help

  Hi there,
  To change the name of your blog, follow these steps:
  – Click My Sites > WP Admin
  – Click My Blogs
  – Hover over the name of your site, and click “Change blog address”
  – You’ll be given a warning, once you change your address you cannot change it back to the previous one. Type the name of your new address and select options as necessary. You can create a new username to match your blog address for example.
