Web address transfer within WordPress?

  I have a domain registered under my WordPress blog that I want to use for a different site (my portfolio on WordPress). I’ve tried to find a way to do this, but I’m getting a feeling that the only way is to cancel the domain from the blog and then reclaim the domain from the portfolio WordPress. Would this be correct and the only way to go about this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If both of the WordPress.com sites are under the same account, you can transfer the domain from one site to the other. In the site that has the domain you wish to transfer, go to Store > My Upgrades. Click the “Transfer to another site” link and follow the instructions. If you don’t see that link, click the gear icon next to the domain to make it (and other links) visible.
