Web Address v/s Primary Site
-
Why can’t I create a Primary Site for example.wordpress.com if my Web Address is http://example.wordpress.com.
It’s confusing because I can access my account, as in the actual blog when I type it in but cannot post anything on it. I’ve tried deleting and joining again with no luck.

Good Morning – You will be able to access the dashboard of http://example.wordpress.com/ when logged into the account that owns that blog. If you are not able to get to the dashboard, where to add posts, pages, customize the blog, etc.. then you are not in the correct account. Each WordPress.com user account is registered with a unique email address. The email address associated with the correct account will be different then the one associated with mpetrichor.

many thanks! I see what the problem is. I mistyped my email address (there’s an extra R) and whenever I try to change the email address (without the R) it says that it’s already in use.
Now, I understand that each account has one email address so my question is can I delete both accounts entirely and start again as a way of joining them up? I’m not worried about losing any material.
