  I have word press web page under Tiffany……web address. It is old, out of date. So, on a wordpress web address I created a new web page. New and up to date, but I do not want to use the web page address of .wordpress.com but my old Tiffany web address. Everyone knows the old website name. Can I simply change my new web page to my old webname?

  Tiffanyhoa.org (old website address. Out of date)

  robertallenblog.wordpress.com (new webpage, up to date, but I want my old web page name of Tiffany.

  Hey there,

  Tiffanyhoa.org is not registered with us here at WordPress.com. It is hosted with GoDaddy. You’ll need to log into your Go Daddy account and map it over to your WordPress.com blog.

  Go Daddy said they couldn’t help and told me to contact WordPress. Why can’t I simple switch my wordpress.com to my Tiffanyhoa org address? Can you release my wordpress address to my Tiffany address with Go Daddy? Roberta

  Go Daddy said they couldn’t help and told me to contact WordPress.

  Did they say anything outside of that? Because they should be able to help for sure.

  Your domain Tiffanyhoa org is not hosted with WordPress.com so we have no control over the domain. You must make the change over at Go Daddy. Are you able to log into your Go Daddy account?

  If so, you can follow the directions that I provided in the link below. You will not need GoDaddy’s assistance. If you have any questions during the process, feel free to ask me.

  On our end, you’ll need to purchase the mapping upgrade and the instructions to map the domain you have hosted at GoDaddy can be found in our support page I listed below.
