Web App with multiple users, is wordpress the right platform?

    Hello,

I would like to build a web app that will house data from multiple users, and multiple users can sign up. Is this the right platform to do so? I haven’t done too much research into wordpress, but it seems this site is great for ECommerce, but what about holding data from multiple users and sending their info to external APIs? The information we would need to send out isn’t sensitive information… Basically I am comparing wordpress to Bubble.io and wonder which one is better suited. Can you enlighten me on this matter? Would wordpress be built to scale?

  • Hi there,

What data are you looking to house for these multiple users? Is this for multiple vendors on an eCommerce site?

If looking into using the free version of WooCommerce you can post in their support forum, here:

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

These forums are for WordPress.com-hosted websites. If you want to know the difference between the two, you can find more information in this document:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    Thanks!
