Why do my browser and Dashboard Show Different Content?

    Hi,

    When I log into the dashboard is it showing the default dashboard when you first sign up for WordPress. When I use my browser to go to rollingforhope.com it shows the correct information.

    I am still getting moderator comments, but can’t approve them because they aren’t showing up on the dashboard.

    Help! Did I somehow create two accounts?!?!?!?!

    Well, you actually have two blogs.

    rollingforhope.com is mapped to http://rollingforhopedotcom.wordpress.com/

    (Speaking of which, you can set rollingforhope.com as your primary domain via Upgrades -> Domains in the Dashboard for rollingforhopedotcom.wordpress.com.)

    http://rollingforhope.wordpress.com/ is an entirely separate blog with no domain mapped to it.

    Sorry I am lost here. Every link I click on for rollingforhopedotcom. keeps sending me back to http://rollingforhope.wordpress.com. I can’t figure out if there is a different username because it keeps sending me back to the same one again and again.

    When I bought the domain name, WordPress did the mapping stuff. I used to be able to log in and see rollingforhopedot.com. Now it keeps redirecting me to rollingforhope.wordpress.com.

    Is there a live person I can speak with on the phone?

    You’ll need to be logged as as the proper user for the http://rollingforhopedotcom.wordpress.com/ blog in order to see the Dashboard for that blog. (Your rollingforhope username isn’t the correct one for that blog.)

    I know that much. That’s the glitch, I can’t find out what that username is. I went back to my initial registiration emails and it gives me the same username for both blogs. When I go to the WP login it only asks you for forgotten passwords, not usernames. When I put in my email address, which is the same for both accounts, it doesn’t let me choose which account to access so it keeps sending me back to the rollingforhope.wordpress.com password reset.

    The email address is actually different for the two usernames. Each account on WordPress.com requires a unique email address.

    If you visit the password reset form and enter the username you used to buy the domain name you’ll receive a new password via email. That will let you log in with the proper username and password to manage your custom domain.
