Web designer has vanished. How can i access the account?

    I had a friend that was going to set up the site for me. He purchased the site and then disappeared. Its been 3 months now and I really need to get this thing rollin, but he has all the account information associated with the domain. Is there any way I can get access to this considering he hasn’t been in touch for three months and has no intention of using it?

    Hi there. The only option I can think of is to submit the account recovery form. However, you’ll need to be able to provide some sort of proof that you’re the account owner. If you don’t have that, provide as much information as you can on the form and wait for staff to contact you via email.

    You’re currently logged in with an account that (in the forum at least) links to the site you want help with. If the accounts are actually linked then going to the admin dashboard while logged in to the forum should be enough. Unfortunately that likely not the case so following @kokkieh’s advice would be your best option.
