Web Developer handled absolutely everything wordpress related, he passed away

  I am a dentist that owns my practice, and a few years back I hired out a web developer friend of mine that handled everything for my website. Except for the domain purchase and paying for hosting (which I control through my own GoDaddy account), he handled everything else about wordpress, site creation, and site updates. Unfortunately, he died a while back, and the site is in desperate need up some updates (Dentist turnover, new hours, etc). I don’t think I have access to anything the Account Recovery page asks for to verify my ownership though. What can I do to get my site back?

  What is the address of the site in question? Is it hosted here at WordPress.com?
