    Dear WordPress support team,

    My web domain has expired and I need your assistance in
    reactivating it.

    Here is my expired website address: johnwarak.com

    I did not get any notifications due to no longer having access
    to my yahoo email account. I have contacted Yahoo many times and they simply were just not helpful at all….

    Thus, I have since been using this Gmail account as my primary email address: (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    My previous yahoo address which I initially used when I set up
    my wp site was: (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    I called Vancity Visa and the agent said that they only keep payment transactions up to 90 days…

    I have paid for my wordPress membership using Vancity visa account under the account holder name: (redacted)

    My Current Vancity Visa card # ending with: (redacted).

    Kindly reply back as soon as possible in order for me
    to renew my domain and get on with my business!

    Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Regards,
    John Warak

    Hello John,

    Your course of action will depend on when the domain expired. See more: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/

    I’ve tagged your post with ‘modlook’ so staff can take a look and let you know what can be done.

    Best of luck!

    That domain expired a week ago. You’ll need to be logged in to the correct account to either renew it yourself or to request staff to assist you.

    Hi John,

    johnwarak.com is owned by johnwarak and as @themagicrobot mentioned, will need to be renewed through that account. There are several account recovery options:

    Recover Your Account

    If your email provider are unable to restore the address, submitting a transaction ID through the account recovery form will be your best bet:

    Recover Your Account

    I appreciate Vancity Visa has said they only keep transaction for 90 days but I recommend contacting them again to see if they can make an exception or whether there is a way around this — I looked on vancity.com and the website suggests it is possible to “view up to 12 months of your previous Visa statement” with certain cards.

    I want to help and appreciate you are in a difficult spot but we can only move forward if you have access to the account email address or proof of ownership like a transaction ID.

    I’ve removed the personal information you shared on these public forums (card name and card digits).

    @charleybea
    — thanks for tagging this thread.

    Hello, How can I get my domain back? I purchased it on WordPress but got a new card and thus was unable to do the auto-purchase. I don’t know how / where to go about redeeming it. It says I need to go to my host and enter in a code so it can direct to the correct site, however, I bought it on WordPress so I’m not sure what site it wants me to visit and enter the link on. The address should be Kenechukwu.com

    @kenechukwua,

    Please open your own thread at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 and add “modlook” in the tags section, and we’ll help you there.
