  Hi,

  I want to purchase a domain name different than my blog name. Is it possible to transfer my blog posts to that address

  Hi,

  If you register the domain from http://wordpress.com/domains to your blog, the domain name will take over and all blog posts will load under that domain. You won’t have to transfer anything at all. If you’ve got a domain name that you want to register, please go ahead and register at http://wordpress.com/domains .
