Web field in Comments

Hi, my blog is a self-hosted one through wordpress.org. But, I use Jetpack so I thought this is the place to post my question/comment.

Is there a way to eliminate the ‘Web’ field in ‘Comments’? I did a search and found that the answer is ‘No’ but today I saw that there is a new version of Jetpack and would like to know if with the new version the option of hiding this field is available.

If it is not, I would like to suggest that in future versions leave this option for the blog owner to decide if it is added or not.

For some people this can be confusing and refrain from commenting thinking that it is mandatory to add a website address. Yes, there are asterisks signaling the fields that are mandatory but believe me, there are people that are not tech savvy and any little detail can be confusing and intimidating.

For developers of plugins, It should not be difficult to add an option to disable this field. Thank you.

Some JetPack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the JetPack support forum at WordPress.org
    http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
Note: If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.

However, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a JetPack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

I do have a username and account in WordPress.org. I thought that because it was a jeptack related issue, I should put my comment here. Thank you.
