Web Forwarding
-
Hi WP!
I have my domain name http://www.capitaltanks.com.au forwarding to http://www.capitaltanks.wordpress.com
However, the page that comes up when putting http://www.capitaltanks.com.au into a browser has a Word Press related error message, that says the following:
“There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started.
You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn’t work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file.”
The same message comes up when http://www.capitaltanks.wordpress.com is used.
How do I get my blog/site to display when one of these two URLs are entered?
I have no idea what’s involved. I signed up and paid for Word Press as it appeared to be fairly straight forward.
Many thanks,
Joe Cooper

Hey Joe,
It looks like you still need to point your domain (capitaltanks.com.au) to WordPress.com by changing the name servers as described here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#how-to-change-your-name-servers
This will need to be done at the registrar (where you purchased your domain). Once this is done, you should no longer receive the error message. Could you give that a try?
