  I have read the FAQs about web hosting, but I’m not sure what to do from here. I want to terminate my account with Bluehost and keep WordPress, but I don’t want to lose everything I’ve done with WordPress.

  Hi @danaholden, can you send a link to the site you want to keep? We can check it to be sure it’s hosted here.

  Note it’s possible to install WordPress at Bluehost. So if you want to keep the site that is hosted with Bluehost, while keeping WordPress on it, you’d need to migrate the content to our services first. Here’s how:

  And, to keep the outside theme and plugins you’ve installed, you would need a plan that supports that, because outside plugins and themes add complexity to our services. We include direct WordPress support, maintenance, security, and many other features that tend to cost extra with other providers.

  The link is alifeblessed.com.

  At this point, I just want to see if it’s possible to keep my blog with WordPress and not lose anything should I cancel my Bluehost account.

  Thank you for your help in this matter.

  Ok, that site is hosted on Bluehost, so the first thing you’ll need to do is transfer it to a site here at WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

  Then, transfer the domain to us: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  That way, you’ll be able to keep your site, but you can cancel Bluehost.
