  If I buy a domain name from wordpress do I have to pay for web hosting?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The hosting is free at WordPress.com if you buy a domain or not.

  No need to pay for hosting.

  But you need buy

  a) a domain, if you do not have one:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-a-domain/

  b) mapping ugrade, if you already have one:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Hi there,
  A domain mapping upgrade includes the purchase of the domain name for one year at a time. Your content stays exactly where it is. All that changes is the URLs and your visitors are seamlessly redirected from the original .wordpress.com URLs to the same content under the new domain URLs.
