  I would like to know about Web hosting and it’s importance for a WordPress website as I am creating an e-commerce store for a bakery.

  A bakery e-commerce store sounds very exciting!

  Web hosting is essential for any website, including a WordPress website, because all websites need a server on which to have their information safely stored. If you have a Plan with WordPress.com ( Free or Paid) then your site is already hosted with WordPress.com. If your site is being hosted by a third-party hosting company, then you will be using WordPress’s open source software (found on WordPress.org) but not hosting your site with WordPress.com.
