  Does the £36 a year include web hosting and full capability for me to make a website go live for a year??

  Hi there, the Personal plan (£36 per year) includes the features detailed here:

  That does include hosting – although perhaps it’d be more accurate to say that it adds/unlocks extra features for your already-hosted-here free site http://prohirerecritment.wordpress.com/.

  I’m not too sure what you’re referring to in terms of capability of making the site live, though it’s worth noting that we do have site privacy settings you can toggle if you want the site to be available to visitors or not:
