  Hello,

  Posting again. I currently have a website constructed with WordPress and hosted by another company. I would like to change hosting companies and find out if I can transfer my domain name and keep my existing website intact.

  Free would be great but I would consider a low cost service as well.
  I don’t know if I am posting in the appropriate forum. If should contact wordpress.org I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

  Hello @marimodandesign!

  This forum is targeted at WordPress.com hosted accounts. If you are on a self-hosted install of WordPress, yes, the WordPress.org forums would be a better place to start.

  If you aren’t sure whether it’s self-hosted or not, here’s a comparison: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org
