Web links in comments?

  It seems that one can embed tweets and YouTube videos in blog comments, which is great. I’m finding, however, that when commentors embed simply Web URLs in their comments, those URLs do not activate. Is that a bug (and if so, how do I fix?) or by intention (to prevent comment spam)?

  Are they posting full URLs starting with http:// in the correct format?

  Yes, they are posting full URLs in the correct format. So that should work?
