Web links in image
-
I used to know how to do this but I forget. I want to insert a link in an image, so that when you click on the image you go to a website. I’ve looked at the settings for images where I did this but can’t find it. Thanks!

Hi Kate,
That’s so annoying, isn’t it? No big deal, that’s what we’re here for!
You can do this at a couple of different points. The first is when you’re first adding the photo to your post, you have some options on the right hand side of the screen, you’ll want to change the drop down for “Link to” from the default of “Media File” to “Custom URL” and then type in the link which you want the image to go to.
If you have already added the image, you can just add the link by editing the image (go to your Dashboard >> All Posts >> Edit your post >> Click on the image >> Click the pencil icon to edit the image). Once you have the image details screen pulled up, you can again change the “Link to” drop down menu to “Custom URL” and type in where you want the image to link to. Don’t forget to save the changes and then update your post in order to make those changes public!
Let me know if any of this wasn’t clear and I’ll try to explain it better!
