web search?

i’ve had my site open for about 4 months and i have a bunch of pictures from final fantasy on it.
no web traffic has found/clicked my images.. i have my privacy settings as open as they get. My brother has a fire emblem site and the 2nd day he put the pictures up he had searches from them. i name my pictures for example “rinoa_official_1.jpg”. i dont know if theres something wrong with how im naming it, but i’ve gotten no hits for any of the characters names, like my brother gets.
I have a media area and then other pages parented under the media area. would search engines still find them? because thats how my brother has it set up.
I have my pages widget in the bottom widget area by the way.

if some one can look at the media area and see if i have it right it would be most appreciated

I would strongly, STRONGLY recommend not using the “READ MORE” tag before the pictures. That’s killing their search engine juice right there; they should be visible right on the main page of the blog. Sure, search engines can find them buried down a click or two, but if you want more exposure, you have to expose more.
