Web search image thumbnail option needed for posts and pages
-
Many bloggers rely on visual content to attract readers, in particular food bloggers.
So when my article appears in the web search results, I would love it to appear with a thumbnail of my food photo to compel the reader to click on my link. Currently, auto publishing doesn’t add <meta thubmnail… > tag to the page.
I believe, since search engines use standard tag to show thumbnails, we need this option added to WordPress publishing engines. We could have this as an option with an on/off switch for each post, and have publisher specify an image, or, better yet, auto-resize the “featured” image. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
