Web site

Sorry if I am being a bit thick but I have the domain guerrillaworking.com though GoDaddy and have used their tools to build a website. I want to come away from them and move to WordPress as I already have my blog with you and am thinking of the personal package. Do I point my new WordPress site to the guerrillaworking.com domain and build it afresh or is there something else I need to do? What happens to the existing site which is associated with the domain when I move?

Hi,
WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/You can upgrade your account and take advantage of domain mapping. The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade. This means your domain would stay with GoDaddy but your site would be with WordPress.com.
To know more about domain mapping, please read the below link.

Really useful thanks. I’ve made the changes and am just waiting for DNS to resolve,
