web site connected with blog

i have a web site now and i had hostgator bring this blog site to my web site. which is fantastic but now i noticed that my web site ritajohnston/herbsmypassion.com is now connected to my herbsmypassion, wordpress .com site. i would prefer that my websiter ritajohnston/herbmypassion be not connected to wordpress.com site but i still want to keep my original blog that i have at wordpress. so how do i get rid of my web site blog at wordpress.com site without messing up my blog here at wordpress. i do not have clue how this happen, my only guess would be that this happen at the time of the transfer. rita johnston

On http://ritajohnston.com/ did you connect the Jetpack plugin to your WordPress.com account? If so, that’s why you see it in your blogs list here.
You can safely delete http://herbsmypassion.wordpress.com/ without affecting http://ritajohnston.com/
