I am looking to put a website for my Non-for Profit. I will need to be able to take donations and sell my books. Can you help me. I couldn’t find all the information I needed.

WordPress.com allows for the use of the simple (no customizations) Buy Now or Donate button from PayPal.
You can sell individual items on your site using your PayPal account and a button directing your readers to the PayPal payment screen.

If you are interested in an integrated shopping cart on your site with additional payment options, you may always upgrade to the WordPress. com Business Plan which allows you to install Plugins like WooCommerce, and provides support to you via live chat (as available) and email.
You also may be interested in considering the self-hosted version of WordPress, called WordPress. org.
