Yesterday, my stats of http://www.nextn.es have completely restarted in http://www.wordpress.com. I had a few years of data. I’m looking for a solution, but can not find. :(

It looks like you’re not hosting your blog at wordpress.com

This forum provide support for WordPress.COM (service) users only. If you’re using a self-hosted WordPress.ORG (software), visit this page to get support: https://wordpress.org/support/

Please note that you need separate account in wordpress.org forums. You can create new account at https://wordpress.org/support/register.php

To learn about the difference between wordpress.COM (wordpress as service) and wordpress.ORG (wordpress as software), please check : https://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Can you check with hosting provider where you blog was hosted at?

I use the Jetpack stats, which require account at WordPress.com.

The section of managing my account has led me here to make an inquiry support. I really did not want to post on the forum, but I see no other way. My stats were reflected in WordPress.com :(

    Any new about this?

  • With Jetpack, your stats information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats were lost.

That’s what happened on your site; it previously used a different site URL, http://www.salteado.com

I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com. You can disconnect from WordPress.com thanks to the link at the bottom of the page.

    Yes, my stats are back!

I was testing with a test site, where replied my website. The other times that I have done this not happened this issue. Next time I will disable Jetpack so this does not happen. ¡Sorry! :-)

I am very grateful for your help! ;D

My subscribers and followers from a prior theme I used for my blog — http://www.districthostess.com are not showing up in the new theme. Jetpack has a “disconnect” button in red, what should I do to import my prior subscribers for the new theme’ my stats only reflect new subscribers.
The URL for my blog has not changed. I have checked all help topics and am stuck, please help! I do not want to “disconnect” and lose even my present subscribers.

    @mmwalimu

The theme shouldn’t affect subscribers and followers numbers. Make sure you’re connected to wordpress.com in jetpack plugin.

If it’s not showing up in the new theme, have you set the widget properly?

  • @mmwalimu

As has been noted, themes do not have any relation to subscribers.

Are you saying that you had an old site at ________ URL and then created a new site at districthostess.com and the subscribers from __________ URL are not showing up on districthostess.com ?

If that is the case, what was that old _________ URL?
