  My website is not active. I keep getting ‘Your server is running PHP version 5.2.17 but WordPress 5.3.2 requires at least 5.6.20’

  What does that mean?

  This error is related to a self-hosted site, not a WordPress.com site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may change your site PHP version to PHP 5.6.20 but it’s recommended to use PHP 7.3+ as currently mentioned here https://wordpress.org/support/article/requirements/

  Please change this in your hosting panel or contact your hosting provider to get help.
