Webcomic wordpress site without plug ins?

    I Purchased a domain name for my Web comic through go daddy and I don’t have a problem with paying 8 bucks a month for a premium word press account, but every guide to turning your WordPress account into a Web comic I find says I need a plugin to make a wordpress webcomic site, and the wordpress page says I would need to pay at least 25 bucks a month to be able to use plugins, is there some way around this that’s more in my price range and that doesn’t require plugins?

    Hi there! I think to some extent it depends on what the guides are suggesting. If you are planning to post your comics on a regular basis as blog posts then that would still be viable without necessarily needing a plugin.

    What sort of setup were you aiming for? Would you want to have the most recent comic showing up on the front page of your site, with previous/next-style links to get to other issues?

    Something like that should definitely be possible on the Premium plan; you could set up your front page to use a Query Loop block to only show the most recent blog post, and only show one blog post at a time:
