Webflow to WordPress Template???
-
Hello! I have a few questions about WordPress themes. I was hired as an intern at a software company, as a Web Developer. My role for the next 6 six weeks will be to migrate their existing website, which is on the Webflow platform to a WordPress template theme, on WordPress platform.
I have done research and found a few WP templates on Envato. Their technical requirements for the template is that it has a WordPress version, comes with HTML5 files, and CSS3 files.
They want to be able to have the HTML5 files so that they can make changes to the code. They use 3rd party software such as NetSuite. They also may want to add PayPal.I found the theme: https://themeforest.net/item/uplift-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/15409157
From my understanding, this Uplift theme is WordPress, so PHP/CSS/JS only. There is no HTML to setup here. Is it possible to find a WordPress theme that comes with HTML5 and CSS files that can be edited?

Hi there,
You can edit the HTML and CSS of Uplift theme( Envato).
You need to make a child theme and then make the edits to it. If you make changes directly to the theme(parent theme), then they will get lost when you will upgrade the theme.
